MidWave hails from Oklahoma City and is composed of veteran members of the Oklahoma City Music Scene. Their tunes are decidedly prog-rock inspired with listeners noting that they are a “musician’s band.”

Chris Sanders, Justin Hogan, Kyle Caldwell, Gabriel Barham, and Nathan Steinman have joined forces to bring you these warm tunes with powerful, gritty vocals.

This band gives precision, wet drum runs, and eloquent guitar melodies along with thumping bass and spacey synth. Lyrically thought-provoking and hauntingly catchy vocal stylings are provided by each member of this five-piece band and recall David Gilmour with nods to the New York City Rock Revival sound.

Tight guitar, brilliant, full compositions, and carefully curated lyrics make MidWave’s songwriting top-tier.

The members have been in bands for over ten years including The Venditoes, Spooky Fruit, Bowsley, The Hannah Wolff Band, Little League Hero, Headroom, Psychic Milk, and Kali Ra to name a few.

Members of MidWave have opened for and supported countless bands over the years, notably, The Struts, Puddle of Mudd, Chainsaw Kittens, Octopus Project, Bright Eyes, Starlight Mints, Hinder, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, NOFX, Shinedown, and Seether.

A product of their environment, MidWave has the signature Oklahoma sound which listeners are sure to recognize and enjoy from the first lick. They are currently mixing their debut LP with Trent Bell at Bell Lab Studios with a release date projected for Winter 2022. Catch them at a live show near you!
